Role & Responsibilities
The Administrator role within Visser Consulting is an entry-level role that requires the incumbent to support and assist the development and delivery of quality regulatory compliance solutions that meet our client and project specifications. Administrators must be able to work as a productive member of multiple project teams simultaneously. Administrators report into a Division Lead (Sr. Coordinator, Advisor or Sr. Advisor) and are expected to have basic, working knowledge of their field of expertise. This is a non supervisory role.
- Project support for Waste Tracking Program and Database (uploads, data entry, filing)
- Review and code waste manifests and various other types of documentation to ensure accurate waste reporting (Data Entry)
- Accurately enter waste data into our Waste Tracking Database (data entry)
- Obtain well, facility and pipeline licenses using ABADATA and the ERCB website
- Project support for ERCB Waste Tracking Audits
- Project support for BCI Management and Administration
- Receptionist support including filing and data entry
- Provide support role for electronic waste tracking and reporting for our clients in order to meet ERCB Directive 58 government regulations
- Participate in the Waste Tracking Training Plan
- Providing information and feedback, as requested.
- Keep current with government regulations
- Assist submitting Annual Oilfield Waste Disposition reports to the ERCB through the Digital Data Submission (DDS) system if required
- Assist in researching new projects and conducting waste audits
- Assist our field division with various projects such as: data administration, report generation and formatting of documents and manuals.
- Assist in the FEM’s (Fugitive Emissions Management) program with data entry, formatting and any other area’s required.
- Assist with invoicing, booking meetings and writing meeting minutes if required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Experience in an Administrative position, preferably managing large databases,
- Demonstrated experience and a working knowledge of:
- Database management;
- Occupational Health and Safety regulations;
- Research skills;
- Must display an attention to detail;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated communication, reporting and team skills
- Post Secondary education is an asset;
- Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset;
- Self-motivated, adaptable and flexible;
- Organizational skills;
- Ability to manage a wide range of work assignments and changing priorities;
- Safety tickets: WHIMIS, TDG, H2S, First Aid are an asset;
- Experience with Database Management; Visio, MS Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook),Data graphics programs (ie. Adadata/AccuMap/ArcMap),Mapping tools (ie. GIS, Mapquest), Beyond Compliance and Project Management software are assets;
- Business writing skills are an asset.
